My students loved using this resource for morning work, they actually ask for it when I decide to not put out morning work! It became part of our morning routine. My students come in during a wide range of times in the morning, some eating breakfast, some not and this has helped to make my morning time calmer and way more organized. (especially as I am greeting students and parents at the door during the morning) I simply set the papers out in the same place every day, students come in, put their stuff away, eat their breakfast if needed and then begin their morning work. It is simple and easy for my students to follow since the format is always the same. It only took my students a week or so to get the hang of the worksheet to independently complete it by themselves. I love this worksheet because it’s spirals and reviews for my kiddos, something that will absolutely be needed after this pandemic. My students and I then review the sight word of the day and go over the worksheet during morning meeting. I also love how this resource is easy, it’s print and go so I can print it out for a whole week at a time and be ready to go. It is also ink friendly! I am thinking of making these into packets next year for my early finisher as Farrah suggests! This is a fantastic resource and is absolutely worth the money. I highly recommend it.
